Kompetensi TIK Bagi Guru SMP Negeri 1 dan 4 Bangkalan Terhadap Keberhasilan Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka

Abstract

Education in Indonesia has undergone several curriculum changes. Currently, the Merdeka Curriculum has been implemented to provide the widest possible access for teachers and students to explore ICT abilities and competencies in implementing the Merdeka Belajar program. This research aims to describe ICT competencies for teachers which are implemented in learning media at SMPN 1 and 4 Bangkalan, as well as describing the implementation and obstacles faced by teachers in implementing ICT in the Independent Curriculum. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, filling out open questionnaires, and documentation. The research results show that a) knowledge and application of ICT-based learning media have been understood and applied by teachers during teaching and learning activities; b) efforts to increase ICT competency among teachers are carried out through training/workshops for teachers and learning through various sources; c) the supporting and inhibiting factors at SMPN 1 and 4 Bangkalan are broadly similar; d) the results and evaluations obtained by teachers when implementing ICT are that students are more motivated and learning is more interactive; d) The obstacle experienced is that teachers need ICT-based learning training/workshops and infrastructure that supports teaching and learning activities.
