The Hajat Bumi tradition is held once a year in the month of Muharram, symbolizing human gratitude towards the Almighty God who has provided His sustenance through the land/earth and all forms of abundant agricultural products as well as a request for the land to remain fertile, repel evil and harvest. which is abundant. This article aims to analyze the values of gratitude and resilience contained in the Hajat Bumi tradition carried out by the people of Karawang, especially Klari sub-district. The scope of this article's discussion is the origin and meaning of Hajat Bumi, the conditions for implementing Hajat Bumi, and the process of implementing Hajat Bumi, studying the values of gratitude and resilience contained in Hajat Bumi. The methods used in the research are literature review, interviews, participant observation and documentation. To anticipate data distortion in data collection, a data cross-check was carried out by matching interview results between informants, then between observations, literature review and interview results. The research informants were people from Klari sub-district, Karawang district who had attended the Hajat Bumi ceremony. The collected data was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Apart from that, the analysis also uses the theory of resilience and gratitude from a psychological perspective. The results of the research show that the Earth Celebration celebration can foster a sense of gratitude, togetherness, cooperation and respect for nature and the environment. Hajat Bumi is a community strategy to anticipate and adapt in the face of trauma, difficulties, tragedies, threats and all things that cause stress or what is often called resilience. Hajat Bumi also functions as a means to strengthen social relations and intimacy between communities. The use of the results of this article is to provide an understanding of the value of gratitude and resilience contained in Hajat Bumi activities and it is hoped that it can provide religious provisions and provide an understanding of how to appreciate nature appropriately to the younger generation.
