Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the "One Day One Vocabulary" method based on multi-language synergy on the speaking fluency (Mahārah Kalām) of students at Anshoriah Wittaya School, Chana, Songkhla, Southern Thailand. This area was chosen because of its sociolinguistic characteristics with very minimal exposure to Arabic in daily life. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design involving grade XI students, who were divided into an experimental class (One Day One Vocabulary method with multi-language synergy Arabic-Patani Malay-Thai) and a control class (conventional method). Data were collected through interviews, observations, speaking tests (oral tests), and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests, and Independent Samples t-tests. The results showed that the average posttest score of the speaking fluency of the experimental class increased significantly higher than the control class (sig. <0.001). Thus, the "One Day One Vocabulary" method, with its multilingual synergy, has proven effective in improving Arabic fluency among students in Arab-minority environments.
