Abstract

Bullying behavior in elementary schools is one of the problems that can interfere with the learning process at school. Changes in student behavior can lead to a decrease in character quality. This study aims to find out and analyze the implementation of the Restitution Triangle in reducing bullying behavior in elementary schools. This research is also to find out the challenges in its implementation. This type of research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach carried out at Pendowoharjo State Elementary School. The research involved students, teachers, principals, and parents. Researchers found cases of bullying in some students through observation and document study. The results of interviews with teachers and principals can describe the implementation of guidance and the restitution triangle. The implementation of the Restitution Triangle as a guidance model shows that there is a reduction in bullying behavior at Pendowoharjo State Elementary School. Students show behavior changes with full awareness. This awareness grows as from themselves, so there tends to be no recurrence of bullying behavior in himself and others. There needs to be a culture of intensive application of this guidance, so that students are able to apply positive discipline.
