PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM PRAKTIK PENGALAMAN LAPANGAN SEBAGAI WADAH CALON GURU PROFESIONAL

Abstract

Field Experience Practice (PPL) is a subject that must be followed by every student, especially the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Science (FTIK) at UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi including students of Informatics and Computer Engineering Education study program. PPL is a series of activities programmed for education students, which include teaching practice as well as non-teaching training to produce professional educators. PPL this year is different from the previous year, because PPL in 2022 is domicile based (PPLDB) or according to student residence, so students are freed by the campus to choose a PPL place. The method used in this research is qualitative method. This study uses a descriptive analytic approach, in which the data is described by presenting the data naturally. The PPL activities which were carried out for about 4 months provided many benefits for students, namely adding experience, knowledge, and insight regarding learning activities at school both inside and outside learning activities or forms of interaction between school members. The results of this study are the implementation of PPL which has gone well, all activities and evaluations have been carried out smoothly so that it can determine the success of becoming a professional teacher. This PPL activity is expected to be a provision for students to develop themselves as professional educational staff when entering the world of work.
