Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Web Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Untuk Meningkatkan Penguasaan Kosakata Bahasa Arab diMts AN-Nuriyah Kaliwining Jember

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based learning media integrating local wisdom to improve Arabic vocabulary mastery at MTs AN-Nuriyah Kaliwining Jember. The background includes limitations of conventional media and low student motivation in learning Arabic. Using Borg & Gall’s Research and Development (R&D) model, the media was developed through several stages: preliminary study, planning, initial product development, limited trial, revision, field testing, and final refinement. The web-based media uses a contextual approach by incorporating local culture of Jember, such as names of places, traditions, and local cuisine. Validation results showed high feasibility, with media expert validation score of 92%, content expert 89%, and student response 91%. Vocabulary mastery significantly improved based on pre-test and post-test results. Thus, this media is proven effective and contributes to contextual and engaging Arabic language learning development.
