Abstract

Problems with the implementation of the independent curriculum occur in every structural component and education unit. This situation is the focus of problems that need to find a way out. One of them is the implementation of the independent curriculum through teachers as a means of strengthening the profile of Pancasila students. The purpose of this study is to analyze the concepts and advantages of the independent curriculum and the implementation of the independent curriculum through teacher teaching modules as a means of strengthening the profile of Pancasila students. This study uses a qualitative approach. Research informants were selected by purposive sampling technique. The data collection process was carried out by in-depth interviews, documentation studies and field notes. Data analysis was performed with reference to the Miles and Huberman model. To ensure the validity of the data, researchers used triangulation techniques and increased the persistence of researchers in analyzing the documents they found. The results of the study show that the concepts and advantages of the independent curriculum are simpler and more in-depth materials, more independent for students, educators and education units, more relevant and interactive in strengthening the profile of Pancasila students. Implementation of teacher teaching modules in learning pays more attention to individual diversity so that students' talents and interests are noticed.
